I've added a new section to my site called "Stories." So much of photography is about capturing a single moment in time, but sometimes one image, or one moment isn't enough to tell the whole story. This new section will feature collections of images that illustrate a narrative. Sometimes that might be the story of a shoot, the story of how an image itself came to be, or as in the case of this first entry, the story of a person, and their process.
Heartland Roasters, located in downtown Bartlesville, Oklahoma, roasts premium coffee from around the world. My friend Ethan Voelkers and I were invited to meet, learn from, and photograph Wes (co-owner of Heartland Roasters), doing his thing. Some of the pictures were taken by Ethan and others by me.
